NHX Format

Wheel trees can also be represented in the NHX (New Hampshire eXtended) format, which is an extension of the conventional Newick format.
In this format, the extra information of wheel trees is given by using ":XN=" tags wrapped by "[&&NHX" and "]".
For example, the NHX representation of the schematic tree

is

(d,a,b,c,(e,f)[&&NHX:B=X])[&&NHX:XN=Y|Z1,Z2,Z3,Z4,Z5]; (In case the left node is the root)
or
((d,a,c,b)[&&NHX:B=X:XN=Y|Z1,Z2,Z3,Z4,Z5],e,f); (In case the right node is the root)

that is, just simply use a "B=" tag for each internal branch and a "XN=" tag for each wheel node. In each "XN=" tag, put a Y value, a vertical bar, and comma-separated Z values where the first is the one flanked by the first and second edges and so on.
